CATRADE takes over Swiss distribution for BOOTDOC & HOTRONIC

CATRADE expands its footwear expertise with the BOOTDOC brand and its winter sports segment with the HOTRONIC brand

As of September 15, 2026, CATRADE will take over exclusive Swiss distribution of the BOOTDOC and HOTRONIC brands. Both brands belong to the Wintersteiger Group—an international full-service provider of professional solutions for skiing and outdoor sports that combines quality, innovation, and service expertise throughout the entire sports value chain.  

» BOOTDOC specializes in individualized solutions for the foot: foot analysis systems, insoles, Power Fit Socks, fitting tools, and foam-molded inner boots. The brand combines innovative analysis methods with customized fitting and supports active feet for greater comfort, stability, and performance in sports. 
 
» HOTRONIC develops heating and comfort solutions for active feet and hands. Its range includes heated insoles, Heat Socks, gloves, and shoe and glove dryers, representing high-quality components, modern technology, and reliable warmth for longer-lasting comfort in cold conditions. 

Pre-orders for HW27 can be placed directly with CATRADE. Orders already placed for winter 26/27 will also be shipped via CATRADE’s Swiss warehouse, and reorders from the 26/27 collection will be possible from fall 2026.

Last week, our company outing took us to Basel. And the city had plenty in store for us.After a leisurely walk, we refueled at the Basel Tattoo food court before taking our seats in a great spot: the stage was set for drums, bagpipes, goosebumps, and an impressive show.Friday continued at a somewhat more relaxed pace. At least at first:⛴️ Ferry ride🏙️ Tour of Basel🍽️ Lunch right by the Rhine🏊 Cooling off in the Rhine for the brave (Okay, it wasn’t actually that cold after all)Two days full of great conversations and lots of laughter. Because a strong team needs more than just shared goals. Sometimes it also needs drum rolls, great experiences, and a leap into the cold water.  Thank you Didi for organizing and to everyone for this fantastic outing!

From June 12–14, 2026, the PILATUS ARENA in Kriens became Europe's volleyball hotspot: the CEV Volleyball European League 2026 brought top international teams and thrilling matches together on home soil. For the Swiss national teams Swiss Volley it was about more than just victories.
